1. Overview

Electronixity ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you browse or buy from the Site, how we use and share it, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). By using the Site you consent to the practices described here.

2. Data we collect

• Contact details — name, email address, phone number.
• Billing & shipping addresses — including state and PIN code, for delivery and GST invoicing.
• Order history — items purchased, order value, order status.
• Session data — a first-party, httpOnly ex_wc_session cookie that identifies your cart on our WooCommerce backend. It contains no personal information and cannot be read by client-side scripts.
• Account data (if you register) — login email and a securely hashed password.
• Support communications — messages you send us via email, WhatsApp or the contact form.

3. Payment data

All online payments are processed directly by Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI PINs and net-banking credentials are entered on Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS compliant checkout and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers — we only receive a payment status and a transaction reference to reconcile your order. For Cash on Delivery orders, no online payment data is collected at all.

4. Who we share data with

We share the minimum data necessary with the following parties, solely to fulfil your order:

• Razorpay — to process online payments.
• Shiprocket and its courier partners — your name, address and phone number, to deliver your order.
• Our WordPress/WooCommerce hosting provider — which stores order and account records on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional processing (such as analytics). We will respond within the timelines prescribed by law.

7. Data retention & security

We retain order and account records for as long as needed to comply with tax/accounting obligations and to support your account, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Data is transmitted over HTTPS, and cart/auth session tokens are stored only in httpOnly cookies — never in browser localStorage — to reduce exposure to cross-site scripting.
