The M5Stack Timer Camera X is a compact camera module built around the ESP32 chip with 8M PSRAM. It features a 3-megapixel OV3660 camera sensor with a DFOV of 66.5°, capable of capturing 2048×1536 resolution photos. The module includes a built-in 140mAh battery, an LED status indicator, and a reset button under the LED. With the BM8563 RTC, it supports timed sleep and wake-up, achieving a standby current of only 2µA. When set to take one photo per hour, the battery can last over a month. It supports Wi-Fi image transmission and USB port debugging. The bottom HY2.0-4P port allows connection to peripherals. Firmware can be burned via M5Burner, and the device can be configured using Camera-Tool or UIFlow.
Note: The power management differs from CORE and StickC devices. Use the PWR button (long press 2s) to power on. To shut down, use the software API or press the Reset button on the PCB. When using an external power supply, the device stays powered on.
